Diamond Equestrian is ran by Kim and her family, I (Kim) have been riding for 24 years and have been working with them for 22 years, professionally making this my living for 9 years now, whilist studying for 2 equine degrees.

I teach, train, school, back and break, competition ride, freelance groom and run local shows in Thurlaston. Please look at 'Kyms Equi services' to see if there is anything i can offer you.

Every horse is treated as an individual and high standards of care & attention are guaranteed - 24/7. 5* Livery care.

Aimed mainly at the competition or pleasure horse and rider.

Vacancies for DIY/part/full/competition/hunter/holiday/selling or schooling livery on a private yard. Your horse is looked after exactly the way you wish.


Facilitys:
Diamond is a small yard and is set up in a way that allows myself to give better care and attention to your horses.

All year turn out
14 big loose box stables (11 x 13 feet & 12 x 15 feet)
Tack room / rug room / storage room
Feed area
Wash box and clipping room
Show jump course
Dressage arena / boards on grass (20m x 40m and 20m x 60m)
40m x 60m silicone sand and rubber shreds school
Fantastic off road hacking
On site shows that I run - dressage, showjumping, combined training and fun rides.

Types of livery:

FULL livery -
Monday to Sunday (7 days).
Complete care of your horse, stable duties, daily grooming ect. Tack cleaned weekly. Kim will organize the vet, farrier or dentist and put it on your invoice. You exercise your horse unless discussed with Kim. All fed included apart from any suppliments.

FULL livery -
Monday to Friday same as above but 5 days only.

PART livery -
Monday to Sunday (7 days).
Morning cover for your horse, normal checks of horse, feed and turn out, muck out and leave bed up to dry, clean and tidy away feed and water bowls.

PART livery -
Monday to Friday same as above but 5 days only.

DIY - What it says!! But extra services can be used if you required. Please discuss with me.

COMPETITION Livery.
Your horse produced fit & ready for competitions. Exercise & schooling included.
Please call to discuss your requirements and a package will be tailored to suit both.


HUNTER Livery. (similar to full livery)
Turn out and fetch in (with rug changes)when on rest day or when required. Muck out and bed down. All will be fed morning and evening (as they all get fed together) Daily groom and I (myself) will exercise x4 days a week, if you hunt twice a week - 1 day off.
Hay, straw and hard feed and chaff will all be included within your livery. If you horse has supplements you need to buy them. All tack cleaned before hunting and your horse got ready.
You have free use of all the facilities.
Free vet, farrier assistance, dentist ect and kim will arrange this and bill to invoice.
You will be taken to and picked up from the meet/hunt if required at an extra charge.


HOLIDAY / SCHOOLING or SELLING Livery.
Horses brought on & produced to sell or problem horses worked through and educated.

LIVERY Charges:

BACKING AND BREAKING
Please call to discuss, horse is worked 6 days a week, (£125 a week) can take anywhere between 4 weeks = £500.00 to around 6 weeks = £750.00

FULL (7 days) - £95.00 a wk (£100.00 with shavings)

FULL (5 days) - £80.00 a wk (£85.00 with shavings)

PART (7 days mornings) - £70.00 a wk (75.00 with shavings)

PART (5 days mornings) - £60.00 a wk (£65.00 with shavings)

DIY - £35 small stables
£37 big stables (all hay and straw included)
£30 horses on shavings as hay included but you buy shavings.

COMPETITION = please call to discuss

HUNTER = £150.00 a wk

HOLIDAY, SCHOOLING = £120.00

SELLING = please call to discuss

LORRY PARKING = £2.00 a wk
TRAILER PARKING = £1.00 a wk

Additional services including farrier, vet, dentist, physio, feed supplements, clipping and trimming, travel and entry fees are charged separately. Clients are responsible for all insurance of their horses, tack & transport.


EXTRA charges should you require if they are not in your livery package =
* Lessons £15 half hour private,
£20 three quarter hour private,
£25 one hour private,

* Schooling - flat or jump = £20 per session
* Clipping (depends on clip)
* m/out and bed down, waters, hay £5.00
* skip and tidy, waters, hay £3.00
* Turn out or fetch in £2.00
* Vet/dentist/farrier attendance £4.00
* Groom £5.00
* Mane / Tail pulling - £5.00
* Plating £5.00
* Bathing and tidying £8.00
* First Aider - £150.00 for the day
