Hi my name is Sharon Hurst. I'm a Qualified nurse & saddle fitter & own & run Hurst Saddlers in Wigston. I own my own horses & ponies, have the dam & stallion to those i have bred. All my life have been horses, i have been team manager for RLRC eventing & dressage. I trained a member of my team, Emily Chandler who later became individual gold medalist in the European junior championships.
I have two horses at Diamond Equestrian:
Rose who is a big girl! Eventually her aim is to show in the heavy weight hunter classes.
Thorn who is proving to be a good allrounder, doing his first test scoring 68%, he has been hunting and doing arena eventing. He will be doing affiliated eventing this year.
Ramble who is Thorns full brother and Rose's half sister. He is being broken in at the moment.

Hi my name is Georgina Brooke-Holmes. I lecture in Sports Management and i'm a full time horse-aholic! My mum fell off when she was 8 months pregnant with me and i arrived soon after so there was no chance i would't ride! I'm still trying to find the cure...!
I have 2 horses.
Fred is a all round good boy, is 20 something but still thinks hes 5. Great fun to ride, a star to handle and clever at everything he turns his hoofs to. (bay pic)
Thomas is the young pretender! Still learning his job. Thomas is kind and brave. He will be a superstar in years to come. (grey pic)

Hi my name is Louise Herbert. I have been riding for 17 yrs - mainly SJ. I work as a financial administrator at a local financial company.
My horse is called Kaiser aand has just turned 6 yrs old. He sometimes has a split personality, when he is good, he's great and whn he is bad, he is really naughty! i'm sure he is a big softy really.
We are currently training with Beverly Brightman (Grand Prix dressage rider)- who is a god send and has took us from completely out of control to novice level in 5 months. 3 yr plan is to get him to medium level dressage and enter a few affiliated jumping and BE classses.

Hi my name is Kerrie Baxter. I have been riding since i was 8, and have owned Frizzy for 6 years - shes my first pony! I am currently studying law and criminal justice at DMU.
Frizzy is sweet netured, although very tarty! We are enjoying all the riding and facilities at Diamond, Fizzy has settled really well, it's a lovely friendly yard.

Hi My name is Cally Moore. I have been riding for 7 years and have had Ben for 6 years. I currently work for the NHS.
Ben loves his belly and is spoilt rotten! But besides that he has a loving nature and will give you all he's got. Certainly 1 in a million!

Hi my name is Karen Harland. I have been riding on and off since i was a child, however due to a riding accident in my early 20's my nerve has limited me to being a novice. I ride just for the fun of it. I have had Benson since the end of July so we are still getting to know each other, but he is proving to be a big docile trustworthy steady and adorable horse. I have been lucky enough to see the Diamond yard grow from humble beginnings to the well run, friendly fun place to be that it is now. I feel fortunate to be part of it.

Hi I’m Rose I am an experienced rider having ridden and competed since childhood(many years!!!)
However, being disabled by progressive illness George has enabled me to continue getting out and about in the countryside with my better half Melv who thankfully enjoys going for long walks.
If you see us out and about give us a smile and wave or just stop for a chat.

Hi my name is Emma Leslie and my mum is Tina. I own Robbie. I am 12 yrs old. I have been riding since i was 5 on and off. I love to jump and one day would like to take Robbie cross country. My mums a happy hacker! We have only had Robbie 7 months so still getting to know him. He's Cheeky but loveable, gets excited when jumping but not malicious, just up for it!!

Hi my name is Denise Wagstaff and i own Syria. I am a novice rider but all the better for being at this yard. Syria is a very loving mare with a cheeky personality. I feel Diamond Equestrian is "home from home" and Syria has benefited since coming here in May.
